Cadrilo is a camera app that runs locally on iPhone. Our principle is simple: your photos and data stay on your device.
What we do not collect
- Cadrilo does not collect personal information and never sends your photos, videos or usage data to us or to any third party. Photos are saved to your photo library, and preferences stay on your device (see below).
- Cadrilo contains no ads and does not integrate any third-party analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
- Cadrilo has no account system. No sign-up or sign-in is required.
- Capture and image processing work entirely offline, and the app has no server of its own. It goes online only when you open the Privacy Policy or User Agreement from the Me page.
Processing on your device
Smart Compose analysis, AI filter suggestions, film color grading and image processing are all performed on the device by Apple system frameworks and built-in models. The viewfinder frames used for analysis exist only briefly in memory. They are not saved and never leave the device.
Permissions we request
- Camera: to show the viewfinder and take photos.
- Microphone: to record sound, only when you shoot Live Photos.
- Photos (add only): to save the photos you take to your library. Cadrilo does not read anything else in your library. The library button uses the system photo picker, so Cadrilo receives only the one photo you select yourself, and shows it only on this device.
- Location (while using the app): off by default. It is requested only after you turn on “Location” in settings. The shooting location is written only into the photo’s own metadata and is not stored or sent anywhere else.
You can change any of these permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Declining a permission affects only the related feature.
Data stored on your device
Your preferences (such as aspect ratio, grid lines, film strength, favorites, custom LUT files and whether onboarding has been completed) are kept in the app’s local storage. Deleting the app deletes this data with it.
Information in your photos
Photos taken with Cadrilo contain standard capture information (device model, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, time and, if you have turned it on, the shooting location). Before sharing a photo, you can view or remove its location in the Photos app.
Children
Cadrilo does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date. If a future version ever needs to collect any data, we will tell you clearly in the app beforehand and ask for your consent.
